The BLACK MAGIC - a moving spiritual story

Imagine being
asked to visit a home where Black Magic had brought out a ghostly
apparition.....Well !

The conscious use of supernatural powers for the
exercise of evil, the perversion of white magic. White Magic is concerned with
expanding consciousness and improving the common good. Black magic is the
selfish and squalid perversion of magical arts to destroy others, or for
personal gain.
But what ever the name 'The Occult' unless looked after
properly can lead to powerful paranormal activity.

The black magician
is, quite simply, a person who wants power for him/herself, or
self-aggrandizement. They want to be able to vent their spite on enemies and
to satisfy all of their desires. A black magician may summon the Devil or one of
his demons and remain a white magician, so long as the purpose for the summoning
is benevolent.

Black magicians are usually defined as those who made a
pact with the Devil. They invoke diabolic and infernal powers for their personal
use and gain; in short, a perversion of legitimate mystic science.

Voodoo (Black Magic) is similar in many ways to other
Afro-American cults, such as Santeria in Cuba and Macumba in Brazil and today
enjoys over 40 million followers.

The term voodoo is thought to be
derived from the word for 'spirit' in the Fon language of Dahomey, now part of
Nigeria. The voodoo religion involves belief in a supreme god (bon dieu) and a
host of spirits called loa.

Most voodoo practices involve the loa, which
are often identified with Catholic saints. These spirits are closely related to
African gods and may represent natural phenomena - such as fire, water, or wind
- or dead persons, including eminent ancestors. They consist of two main groups:
the rada, often mild and helping, and the petro, which may be dangerous and
harmful.

In England, Voodoo practices include animal sacrifices and
pilgrimages. The focal point of a pilgrimage is usually a Christian church
identified with a particular voodoo spirit. The most important of these
pilgrimages take place in July and honor Ogou (Saint James) and Ezili Danto (Our
Lady of Mount Carmel). Another aspect of voodoo is called 'work of the left
hand', which includes belief in zombies

Our Involvement With VOODOO

Try to
dealing with the most unusual of spirits, and then Voodoo Spirits ! ! ! ! . . .
...
We encountered a former home of a Voodoo Priest (known as a houngans or
manbos). The home was bound in a 'magic' ceremony where a 'Zombie' like state
encrouched your dreams. The new owners had different beliefs to many Uk
citizens, but wanted help to be able to rest from the wicked spirit as they
called it. It was they whom told us of Voodoo and therefore some form of
understanding what a Voodoo spirit was, had to be known!

First things
first a good knowledge from a local voodoo expert and local history was sought.
Luck was on our side as the local newspaper reporter told us of a man possessed
by the 'Petro' spirit had murdered his victims at the home. Anyone living in it
soon to found an evil presence that would become known quickly and that was just
our case. Local police soon gave information regarding the number of victims and
the state they were found in.

Again luck was with us as the local
reporter showed us photographs around the crime scene. Looking at some
photographs of the previous occupants handy work, revealed that around the home
Jars of Odd looking pieces of human remains were place in what seemed like
'Strange' places. It was at these points that activity was at its strongest,
blessing these areas and cleansing through VooDoo techniques helped clear areas.
This spirit had to be removed and controlled, it is believed that when human
spirit has committed evil deeds during its temporal existance it can be placed
into a permanent state of nothing. In christian terms 'Purgatory', Thankfully
most Voodoo priests act for the common good, conducting exrcisms and
administering healing rituals.

Again more luck (or was it) a local
American Voodoo Priest made himself known, and he placed himself up to offer
help. The home had the spirit had to be exorcised, to release the entity.

We watched the wonderful ceromony with disbelief as all felt the power
of a spirit rush headlong at us. This time we felt powerless as the Priest
performed his duties to the earth and humans alike. Seeing his own zombie like
state worried us as we were relative onlookers to an unsusual event. Over one
and a half hours passed so quickly, peace returned to the home. We all felt
humbled at this type of ceromony were another religion/belief was shown to us.
Our respect for other cultures and beliefs has risen, similarities to our own
are there for us to see - but one thing is for sure they believe in a God being
around us all the time, as we do our own.
